Howdy from we Creese's!!!
As you can tell, we're a family of dirt bikers. This was taken up on a ridge at Hollister Hills last November.
Cannon #171 and Cooper #731 are both on Honda-Yamaha of Lompoc's race team; however, our local race organization shut down last year but we're hopeful some racing will be in the works this spring at Zaca. Cooper works the gate at Zaca Station MX track on the weekends. Cannon and I both do work out there too. Where else can one get paid and work doing what you absolutely love? Since working there, both boys have stepped up their riding immensely. Cooper's now "scrubbing and whipping" over the large plateaus at the track, and Cannon has accomplished nearly every jump. It's amazing to see how much they've improved.
Jim #9 is the most loving and awesome husband, as well as one devoted dad...constantly supporting our family sport. He's an awesome rider with this ultra-smooth style when riding and jumping out at the Doc's.
As for me? I just do the best I can to hang with the big dogs. I race 40+ Amateur and am usually up at the gates with all men. I also race Women's 25+ when we can get enough women together. I've given up racing with the young girls...they're a little too gnarly for this gal. I have a blast and love the adrenaline at the gates!
