I haven't posted too much lately, but thought I'd put a couple videos on to throw some humor at you.
It's been a week of some extremely sad news for a couple of our Jr. Lifeguard families and friends. The news of the sudden loss of one family's mother of three, and then the loss of one of our young and talented Jr. Lifeguards in a surfing accident just had me a bit overwhelmed with humbleness and sadness. Our 2009 Jr. Lifeguard season is about to begin, but there will be some heavy hearts as we head into this year's JG season. I pray for those families and their friends, as it will take a lifetime of healing to come to terms and heal with their losses. May God bless and heal them...
I was sent these two videos recently, and they brought me a pretty good laugh. If anyone knows me, I love a super good joke and, although it seems these emails caught me at a bad time, I found that they brought a bout of laughter to my thoughts and started my journey out of the funk I've been in for these past couple days...
I shall spread the sunshine.....enjoy!
